Join me for a cozy and festive Sip, Shop & Sourdough event — where we’ll combine the art of sourdough baking with a touch of holiday cheer, local holiday shopping, and community.

This special edition of my popular Sourdough for Beginners class brings a festive twist to bread making. Together, we’ll mix and create a beautiful Christmas Sourdough Loaf infused with holiday flavors like orange zest, rosemary, cranberries, and walnuts. You’ll also learn creative ways to gift sourdough this season — from sharing your starter to wrapping homemade loaves beautifully for friends and family.

Because this event takes place in the charming setting of Holly House, a seasonal pop up Artisan Market, you’ll sip some wine, mix sourdough bread, and shop an incredible collection of local artisan goods — making this the perfect holiday outing for you and your favorite people.

In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll learn:

• Understanding, feeding, & gifting a sourdough starter

• Mixing and developing your dough by hand

• Adding inclusions, developing dough & fermentation

• How to shape, and bake at home

• How to gift sourdough — from wrapping baked loaves beautifully to sharing your starter with others this Christmas season

You’ll leave class with your own loaf-in-progress to bake at home, a jar of active starter, a dehydrated starter ornament you’ll make and the confidence to create (and gift!) your own sourdough masterpieces this holiday season.

We’ll add a little extra cheer with holiday music, twinkle lights, and raffle drawings for fun sourdough-themed prizes. Come dressed in your favorite Christmas apron or sweater, bring a friend, and get ready for an evening filled with good bread, good company, and holiday joy!
